Today, some of my students presented a silly comic book story in which I proposed to a 12 year old girl, got arrested, and went to jail. :lol:

How would you have reacted? I thought it was funny.

But a girl? :o

Huh. I would say “thanks for the book” and laugh at the joke with the rest of them.

What's the grade level of your students? If younger they'd probably just find it funny if late middle school up to high school they'd probably just think your weird?

Edit: NVM I thought you showed that to your students not students to you. Like they definitely on your ass haha lol I guess.

I would have found it funny as well.
Boy... They understand everything!... or it is just an interesting coincidence. Why a girl? They sense you are attracted to them, but maybe homosexuality is not so mainstream in the country where you live, so they think it's the most natural thing to couple you with a girl instead?
