Not canon that he is a pedo. But he literally says that he loves Sofia(an 8-10 year old girl) and that she is his “””“best friend””””. The two are extremely close and Cedric and Sofia both sacrfice themselves for each other during multiple times in the show. Their relationship is riddled with pedoromantic tension, even though its not canon, its heavily coded/implied. People will say that their relationship is strictly platonic and Cedric sees her as a daughter, and I suppose you can see it that way since their relationship isnt strictly defined(and disney isnt going to outright say that their character is a pedophile). But a single older man who meets a little girl and has such a close relationship with her that he sees her as his best, closest, and only friend, loves and cares for her deeply, and even sacrifices himself for her?? Bro. Like ig you could see them as a platonicfather and daughter duo, but you dont get the right to bully people who see them as lovers. Like he is super into that little girl and Sofia is super into him. And the father/daughter thing doesnt make much sense when sofia LITERALLY ALREADY HAS A DAD.

People try to say that he isnt a pedo(he literally calls himself a pedo in the show and is shown MULTIPLE times being into young boys),at least not a “real” pedo, because the “super soldier serum” made him a pedo. That makes no fucking sense?? Why would the serum have the side affect of making you sexually attracted to little boys?? And why would literally only Hatred get that side affect?? Its literally just him who gets the “pedo aide affect”. Probably because he was already a pedo to begin with??? What makes more sense is that he was always a boylover and the super serum is like a super enhanced version of steriods that made him unable to control his base impulses, espcially sexual ones. Whats more likely, the super steriods make you sexually attracted to elementary school boys, OR, if you are already sexually attracted to elementary school boys, it gives you an ridiculously high overdose of testosterone and inhibits/destroys impulse control and makes you hyper aggressive?? I feel bad for the character, because the super serum drove him crazy, and I also feel bad for the boys that he canonically abuses in the series. The whole character is tragic, and he really makes you feel for him that hes trying to change into a better person and stop being abusive. But the problem isnt that hes a pedophile, the problem is that hes aggressive and lacks impulse control. Those two do NOT go hand in hand and I hate that the show acts like it does. I appreciate venture bros for showing that people can change and shouldnt be forced into a box of evil or good, black or white. The only thing I didnt like is that you kind of forget hes a pedo in later seasons because the show doesnt want to talk about hos love of boys. Hes still a body gaurd to the two teenage boys in the show so theres that. But the people who genuinely try to say that hes “not really a pedo” and try to blame him liking little boys on the super serum pmo.
