I don't think I have time for another post but I'm glad I'm registered now. I was banned from another site and I don't know why.
Recently there was a major outage of MAP sites including this one as well as both girlchat and boychat and possibly more sites. I heard someone on VoA say it was a DDoS. Any news on what the situation was?

In our case, the attacker flooded the server with thousands of nonsense requests. It doesn't compromise the server, but it does take us offline until they get bored.

As for the other sites, I have no idea.

Could we possibly forward * values that might include the random strings to Google or Wikipedia?

We want to keep the board open.

Everyone gets hit with attacks sometimes. It's not a big deal.

Wow, someone really doesn't like me.
Brian,

Your site's been stumbling for the last week—random hiccups, slow loads, brief outages. You probably chalked it up to traffic or bad luck. Those were just warm-ups.

Now it's real. Pages are timing out, logins failing, threads vanishing. It won't stop.

During those little tests, enough slipped through the cracks. User lists. Messages. IPs. Files. I ran them against the dark corners where child exploitation lives. Twenty-seven of your regulars are regulars there too. Same names. Same emails. Same habits. Your forum isn't a discussion—it's a gateway.

48 hours.

Shut it down. Wipe everything. No backups. No mirrors. Release a closure statement via your media or website.

If it breathes again, the map goes out.
- FBI ICAC
- NCMEC CyberTipline
- Luxembourg Police Grand-Ducale [redacted]
- The hunters.

Your box at [redacted] in [redacted] rack won't hide the contents our "Pro-Reform" manifesto isn't just words on a screen anymore, Brian—it's your obituary. I've got your admin logs, your unfiltered chats from the hiatus years, and every naive post where you blurred the line between "non-offending" and enabling. One leak, and you're not just canceled: journalists swarm, employers blacklist, and the real hunters—families of victims, online mobs—get your full bio, down to the anglocentrism rants that make you look like a fringe zealot begging for a door-kick. Shut it down, or watch your safe space become your cage. They come for leaders first.

...but the user list is public, just like the names are public.
No backups. No mirrors.
And how would they prevent it? Any user could mirror the forum.
Maybe there are already some, at least dozens of them, none of which anyone controls if they're local.
I ran them against the dark corners where child exploitation lives.
Did he just admit to frequenting places where there is child exploitation? And he's complaining about this forum because there could potentially be someone with the same name? Damn, on top of doxing, the list of crimes is growing. (I assume it's the same one as last time.)

So are threads vanishing?

Also, I have the impression it was written using AI. The grammar is too good compared to the introduction (if it's the same person).
