It’s a disturbing trend; sex crimes are on the rise, especially among the most vulnerable, our children. Law enforcement says the problem is made worse by repeat offenders.

News12 Investigates looks at the problem here in Eastern North Carolina and how law enforcement and advocates are teaming up to fight back.

As data shows an increasing trend of sex crimes nationwide. These are just a few of the people in our area arrested already known to law enforcement.
