Sake?

Post by BLueRibbon »

Does anyone else here really enjoy sake?

I even like some of the cheap stuff that some Japanese people refer to as 'cooking sake' (not mirin, but the sake that comes in a box).

I had it one Winter, I liked it. It was years ago, though.

Has anyone here tried Palm Wine?
I'm not a drinker, butI had just one taste about 20 years ago in a place where it was very popular. I have often wondered how well it would perfom if it were introduced to broader markets.

I’m thinking of becoming a teetotaler actually.

Now you've made me curious.

I went to a japanese convention a few years ago and did a 'sake tasting experience' - it was really great. Sake with yuzu in it is especially great! :D

Never tried it. I usually stick to Tennessee (Jack) or Canadian (Crown Royal) whiskey and bourbon (Bulleit).
