We can't be weak

Post by Undercover »

I have heard MAPs say that we should seek to make people tolerate us more rather than fighting for our rights. Imagine if gay people had thought like this; then they would never have gotten their rights. Because guess what? Even to this very day, gays are some of the most hated, but luckily they got their rights, unlike us

I do generally agree with you.

I've always felt appeasement of anti's is a dangerous slippery slope, that's why I never liked Virtuous Pedophiles since it was all about joining with the anti's to throw mud at other pedophiles, not realising that in fact they're making their own situation worse long term since they'll always be the outsiders begging for acceptance.

The fact is that most pedophiles are normal people, living normal lives, contributing to society like everybody else. The term pedophile is really misued to create phantoms that don't exist.

Even the idea of children lacking sexuality is wrong. Most parents know that their kids masturbate because it feels good and as they grow up in ignorance of sex they develop strange views and habits with friends. Kids giggling about sex, sometimes doing risky things because they don't know better. Sex education is usually just biology but that's the easy bit to teach. Kids are very sexual by nature, more so than adults I expect because kids often masturbate and fixate on sexual subjects which reduces through adulthood.

I'm not saying sex with kids is right but I am saying it's natural for "people" of all ages, especially younger with higher sex drives, to have sexual urges and needs and ideas. I'm a mature guy now but in my 20s I had a permanent erection, I actually I had one from around 8 or 9 and I was aware of and interested in sex from around 6 when I had my first experiences.
Keep every stone they throw at you. You've got castles to build.

ILGA thought that when it excluded the MAPs from the gay community and it hasn't helped them at all.

Many gay people continue to suffer the social stigma of being predators even though they try to distance themselves from us as much as possible.

In some countries, like Trinidad and Tobago, homosexuality has already been re-criminalized, and that will only continue to grow as long as the queer community remains divided by stupid internal fights.

Did you just use the term "predator" in correlation with MAPs? I'm certainly no predator, but if you want to call yourself that, then whatever

Then what did he mean by "predators"?

The author was talking about a stigma; they were referring to the prejudice that others hold toward homosexuality, using the terms those others use. Nothing more, nothing less.

Exactly, I was just talking about stigma, I don't consider MAPs as "predators" (since predatory behavior is contrary to the emotional attraction of the MAPs towards the children/teens)
