Bill Leeper, Nassau County Sheriff

Post by Jim Burton »

I first became acquainted with this guy when he posed for multiple selfies after planting those "sex offender" signs outside registrant's residences. We have some of those images on NewgonWiki.

He also seems to be engaged in an all-out offensive against what he describes as "deviants", as well as collaborating with ICE.

Here is a man obsessed with pedophiles. He is the modern-day Lloyd Martin!

Dec 11:
Sheriff Bill Leeper says he wants this story public because these men are actively trying to meet children for sex.

"I want you to know what you are doing is creepy. You are scum. You're a lowlife. You should be locked up for life," Leeper said.
Dec 8:
And he doesn’t mince words — Sheriff Bill Leeper calls these keyboard predators “scum bags.”

But this series goes far beyond the arrests. In four parts, beginning with this one, First Coast News will show you the real methods predators use: how they groom, how they lie, and how they win a child’s trust — even very young children.
Jun 25:
Sheriff Leeper talked with News4JAX about the chances he’s witnessed over his lengthy career in Northeast Florida.

“Back when I was 8 or 9 years old, a neighborhood friend of mine, we would hitchhike, go out on the street, put our thumbs up, hitchhike to the beach, Main Beach area”, he says reminiscing, “and we’d hitchhike back home. We never thought about, you know, a child molester picking us up, like could happen today.
April 1:
“These individuals we arrested represent the worst in our society to prey on our children,” said Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper. “These suspects need to be in jail and that’s where we put them.”

[...]

“Just know that wherever you are, if you’ve been talking nasty and sending filthy pictures to what you thought was a child, we are after you,” Leeper said. “If we didn’t get you this time, we will get you next time.”

During the press conference, Leeper emphasized the importance of parents staying aware of their children’s online activity.

“In order to stop this, we need parents to quit being in denial that their child would never think about doing something like this,” Leeper said. “Parents have to understand that the first line of defense is at home. They have to know what their kids are doing online.”

Leeper advised parents to monitor their children’s internet activity and be aware of who they are communicating with online.
March 27:
Thursday, Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper announced the arrests of 23 people across Florida and Georgia — who he referred to as "real monsters" seeking sex with children — in a two-phase sting operation.

The first phase was "Special Operation Deviant Nightfall," a four-day coordinated effort starting Jan. 15, 2025. This phase led to 16 arrests, including the arrest of Harrison "Ted" Clark, a Clay County elected official, whose arrest First Coast News reported at the time.

The follow-up phase, called "Deviant Sunrise," resulted in seven more arrests over a two-month period.
March 27:
“If you are a parent, the results of this operation should scare you. I couldn’t believe how many grown men wanted to have sex with what they thought was a 13 or 14-year-old child,” Leeper said.

[...]

“As a parent and a grandparent, it scares the crap out of me. I try to think about what would happen, what I would do if one of these scumbags got to my granddaughter. It wouldn’t be pretty. I have to obey the law now, but I know what I would want to do,” Leeper said about the mass arrests.
These go on, and on.
