The victim admitted she spent the night with Koch. She described falling asleep in Koch's arms. One of the girl's parents also found a vape that Koch allegedly purchased for the 13-year-old victim, and said that Koch made comments like, "If (victim) wasn't 13 years old, she would be my type."

Now this is really getting silly. They are just trying to rack up charges. So if the adult wears the teen's sweater, they call that 'posing as a minor'??

I still don't know what the flip 'grooming' even means. If they're insinuating (without directly asserting) that the lady is trying to prepare a minor for a sexual encounter once said minor comes of legal age, then.... what is this, attempt to probably, maybe commit an act sometime in the future at a time when said act would be legal? All based on a speculated supposition.

A bathing suit?? That's illegal!! Oh wait... no it isn't. Unless you're in Saudi Arabia or something. Wtf is wrong with these people, lol. Clearly the lady sent no nudes, otherwise they would've said so.

Koch is being charged with indecent assault of a person less than 16, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor.

Wait what? Where in the article was an 'assault' or any sexual contact mentioned at all?? These are all bullshit charges. If any actual crimes were committed, they wouldn't have to highlight all this trivial nonsense about her wearing someone else's sweater and sending a swimsuit pic.

This is why I put an emphasis in activism on reducing social stigma. Another activist once told me that, we don't need activism for things that are 'already legal.' But this case shows otherwise. If your legal friendship/relationship with a YF is found out, then a hysterical society can get you on some indirectly suggested ulterior motive grey area. And even when this lady is (hopefully) found innocent of all bullshit charges, you can see what the media has done to her, for engaging in what seems like a genuinely caring, legal relationship.

And for those that are more interested in legal frameworks (I get it), when we talk about AoC laws, can we start to include things like non-sexual dating within those frameworks?
