Three teenagers “deliberately planned to attack” a man they branded a paedophile before he was chased and hit with rocks and a bottle, a court has heard.
A 16-year-old girl and two boys aged 15 and 16 are on trial at Woolwich Crown Court for the murder of Alexander Cashford in Leysdown-on-Sea, Kent, on August 10 last year.
Prosecutor Kate Blumgart KC told the jury that Mr Cashford met the girl by chance at an arcade in the seaside resort on August 8, giving her his phone number on a business card.
The 16-year-old boy saved it in his own phone as “pedo” (sic) and over the next two days around 75 messages were exchanged, with Mr Cashford believing he was in contact with a 16-year-old girl named Sienna.
He claimed to be 30, asked her if she liked champagne and said he wanted to kiss her, with “Sienna” then suggesting they meet at her empty parents’ home and telling him to bring alcohol, the jury heard.

It is conspicuous how many times the dead victim is named in ITV's report, whilst the identity of the murderers is protected.
Ironically, the age of consent in the UK is 16. The murdered man had committed no crime. The girl shouted “f****** paedophile, I’m f****** 16, get him” as she filmed the attack
In the absence of a clear blueprint, a good imagination is essential.

MAPs living in hysterical countries, who have reason to fear exposure and attack, need to :
- arm themselves to whatever extent is legally possible
- be willing to defend themselves to whatever extent is legally possible, even if that means using lethal force

This particular case seems like there was very little the guy could've done (but yeah, protection could've helped). The assailants snuck up on him from behind like COWARDS and whacked him over the back of the head with a bottle when he least expected it, since the girl was playing along as though she liked him. But she was in on it, and the attack was clearly coordinated. So when a gang conspires to strike when your back is turned, and they gang up on you like *cowards,* the odds are already against you. And it's illegal to pack heat in the UK, but if the victim had had some other form of defense, that could've given him more of a fighting chance. When it came to fight-or-flight, he was clearly unable to out-run the much younger gang of murderous attackers. But I think his biggest vulnerability was not expecting that that would happen while he was out in the open.BLueRibbon wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 10:45 am MAPs living in hysterical countries, who have reason to fear exposure and attack, need to :
