I mean… first of all, I think that, given how things stand now, they are more inclined to regulate behavior between adults than to engage in discussions about sexual liberalization for minors.

But even if they were to change their narrative, wouldn’t it be too late? I mean, it’s not just feminism understood as a movement anymore; these ideas have become institutionalized within international organizations ready to exert political pressure, currently supported by both the right and the left. We are almost at the point of considering this liberticidal idea of the absence of a minor sexuality a human right. I don’t think this stuff would be dismantled even if those who promoted it were, at some point, to change their minds. Rather, I think it will remain a permanent weapon—at least rhetorically—that will keep the movement on the “straight and narrow.”

But maybe I’m just extremely pessimistic.
Yeah, it's hard to find reasons to be optimistic. And it's likely that, as you say, certain laws and socio-political structures will remain in place even if those who promoted them changed their mindset... But people changing their mindset is very important and allows, at least, certain communities and environments in which to take a break, even if only temporarily, from legal persecution. I don't know, this may be a bit of a stretch, but I'm thinking of cocaine users, for example. They are persecuted legally, but socially there is enough acceptance that a cocaine user, if they are lucky, can have friends, lead a normal and satisfying life, and avoid legal problems (the health problems that cocaine can cause are another issue; here I wanted to talk only about the social and legal situation of users).

On a more ambitious change... well, throughout human history, there have been many prohibitions that almost everyone supported and that served the interests of those in power, but which ended up falling anyway. Blasphemy, witchcraft, sex outside of marriage, homosexuality... psychedelics will probably be next... it doesn't seem far-fetched to imagine a world in which intergenerational relationships are once again allowed. The fact that this will happen in our lifetime is a little more difficult, though: it could take centuries. The scenario I describe in the previous paragraph, on the other hand, could perhaps, with luck, be viable much sooner

But don't forget that the Oranien-Strassenkomunen, the Kanalratten, Butterfly Kisses or Beth Kelly existed. And, for simple statistical reasons, it is certain that there are currently many lesbian MAPs.

Good point. Although, even in that case, it could be useful to encourage people from other movements to stop persecuting MAPs based on the logic of their own ideas. Conservatives, socialists, anarcho-capitalists... I think anyone who stops persecuting MAPs is good news. Even if we aren't feminists, convincing feminists to reclaim the ideas of sexual freedom that were characteristic of the second wave could help a lot.
