Image embedding not working?

I tried to embed some screenshots of the thread that Fragment linked. Although they work if you open them in a new tab, they don't appear in the thread.

I believe this is a security feature to prevent snooping. We're looking at the possibility of enabling image upload for trusted board users.

For the time being, we don't want other users posting offsite images in threads that can be used to harvest the IP addresses and personal data of our users.

You can upload screenshots and other imagery relevant to the discussion.

Please do not turn this into an image board. There are plenty of other places to find legal images of children.

Maybe have a specific rule against collecting or sharing safe for work images of children on the forum? I can't imagine a reason why it would be necessary to have an image of a child, except maybe in an historical context.

We'll deal with that as it arises. As long as people aren't sharing PIM, there's no emergency.
