From this point of view, sexual desire is a completely different playing field, and what is considered the “danger” derived from sexual desire has nothing to do with the concept of addiction. We’re not talking about the danger caused by tolerance (and therefore the constant search for something MORE), nor are we talking about withdrawal symptoms. So we’re not talking about addiction—an addiction which, if it did exist, would primarily be a problem for the person experiencing it.
