I was here for a lil bit a while ago, kinda just been busy since I first joined. I miss the people and community here honestly. Also I wish this place would verify me or smth already so I can dm. Anywho I like welding and woodworking and playing games mostly. But I like hanging out with my lil brother too. Im gonna start training for a marathon this may I wanna do with my mom and brother. I wish I could make the kind of friends I make here elsewhere, especially because talking on the forum takes forever lol

Only moderators can DM. The "verification" just means you can post comments without moderator approval; all new users have a probationary period before they're allowed to post without moderator review (though if someone keeps trying to skirt the lines of the rules the probationary period can be prolonged indefinitely).

Yeah, Mu is unusual because DMs are never allowed even for regular users.

Maybe at some point, we should create a user class that can take part in DMs - but to have DMs as soon as you come off moderation (like Virped) does not make sense. The matter of being allowed to DM on our server is far more sensitive than coming off moderation.
