Man slanders childcare worker as a paedophile - and now has to pay up

A 28-year-old man deliberately and falsely accused a named crèche employee in a Migros branch of paedophilia.

The alarmed cashier informed the crèche manager, who then called the police.

The public prosecutor sentenced the man to an unconditional fine of 900 francs for defamation. He must also pay the costs of the proceedings
