Usually the people who have amsc who don't develop weird interests are quiet about it so you're basically selecting for the people who probably would have had abnormal sexual desires anyways

Good point, and most people who go through AMSC and develop weird interests were likely raped/coerced so when they report that it makes it look as if consensual AMSC causes weird interests since most reports of AMSC are rape cases

Honestly almost any experience associated with sex can lead you to develop kinks or weird sex fantasies, when I was a toddler I confused sexual urge with needing to pee and since then I have a pee kink.
