It’s no coincidence that some of the things that adults and kids love the most tend to have a bit of an icky lens when you look close enough. According to one user on TikTok, Rosie, it isn’t about being too “woke” or looking too deeply into something that isn’t there. As she puts it in her video, “I think it actually is that deep.”

She explains how certain music artists are marketed in a way that appeals to children because the artists are almost childlike, and also to adults because they appeal to certain types of adults. Like the Epstein crowd. Yes, that Epstein crowd. It’s an epidemic at this point, and in some ways it’s staring us all in the face.

So she's upset that content creators, movie producers, singers etc are... making content that kids like?

What does she want instead, exactly? If appealing to children whatsoever is "grooming".

I had to read the article and watch the video multiple times before I was able to make out some kind of semi-coherent point. I think she's complaining about sexualized media using aesthetics or motifs associated with children and arguing that this is like a pedo dogwhistle meant to normalize the sexualization of children and "groom" kids into being sexualized, or something along those lines. So a grown woman dressing like a eroticized barbie doll and titling her album "play with me" is bad because dolls/toys are associated with children and even an abstract, thematic link between children and sex is enough to set off the moral panic alarm bells.

At least that's my best attempt at extracting meaning from this inarticulate gibberish. I really wish social media hadn't platformed so many complete morons who can barely even string together a full sentence. "We are constantly correlating sexual stuff with, like, children's stuff. How about no!" Really profound critical analysis there.
