Also, is their any proof about someones AoA actually aging with them? Something not socially and legally influenced by age segragated social customs but a genuine internal affair? Because I have little reason to believe the natural default for the human species is to only be sexually attracted to those born the same year as you but once you reach whatever number the society you live in says your an adult you will suddenly prefer everyone from that number onwards ans no longer be intrested in the people youn found attractive even a day before reaching said number.
I dont know how that form of sexual attraction is supposed to work in pre age of consent societies, as in, the majority of human history. And since sexual attraction is supposed to be biological and determined in utero, wether towards males vs females, young vs old, etc, I dont know what would change as you grow up to make you suddenly stop being interested in the age group you were interested a year or two ago.
If the state of physical maturity and gender you are attracted to is supposed to be biological, then what is supposed to make your AoA age with you if its not societally imposed? I would say the hormones from puberty, but puberty starts before 18, and wouldn't account for people who claim that their AoA ages with them not finding kids attractive who have also started puberty, or continuing to only be attracted to people the exact same age as them or in the same straight age group despite the lack of future drastic hormonal shifts till menopause and its male equivalent.
The idea that someones AoA is genuinely supposed to age with them and this isnt just teliophiles coping and surpressing their small amounts of natural occuring mapiness never made sense to me. Even for most of human history its always been “older male, young female”, never “male and female the exact same age group, preferably the exact same age”, how come peoples AoA didnt start ageing with them until so recently in man kind?
Something as in “I was attracted to this age group as a kid but now as an adult I genuinely hold zero attraction for them” and not “I was only ever interacting with kids my own age and rarely interacted with adults but once I reached the age of majority and finally got the chance to interact with my preferred age range I realized I preferred adults” or “I was more emotionally attracted to my same aged girlfriend as a minor but once she got older and more sexually mature I began to get more sexually attracted to her” or “I am attracted to both minors and adults but now that I am no longer a minor and it is not socially acceptable I have to suppress the MA side of myself and convince myself that I only want adults, which is made easy by socially and legally induced age segregation so I rarely even so non adults to be attracted to in the first place”?
