I kinda get what you are saying, genitals are JUST body parts that when stimulated feel good, so why put so much tabboo and social trauma on a body part that makes you feel GOOD, only humans tend to do that because of thousands of years of religious/social/sexual repressing correct?

The major reason is that its traumatic. The very idea of unwanted sexual encounters is traumatic to a lot of people to an almost irrational degree.

Get bullied or jumped? Bad experience but people can shrug it off.

Get groped? Some would need a lifetime of therapy for that.

This should be the other way around, but its not.


I'm hung on whether my sympathy towards pedophilia is justified or not. I feel that ACSR is overhated, but I think the hate towards baby fuckers or Bill Cosby types is justified.

I had positive sexual experiences from around 6, I don't consider myself unique, there are countless cases like that.

I'm pro protection, keep people safe from abuse. Kids deserve to be safe and not pressed or tricked into abusive situations, the same for adults. But to decide arbitrarily for a whole group of people based on ones own views is a form of abuse in its own right. If I decided you were not ready for sex, based on your level of intellect, abilities, whether you're able bodied, on whether you fit any criteria I hold dear, I would consider myself acting really in my own interest rather than yours.

Are you disgusted that kids as young as 6 are taken to churches to be brain washed into a religious cult? Or are forced to accept education, medical procedures, vaccinations, and many other very intrusive and impactful actions taken against them? I mean they can't consent to any of this and it will shape their entire life in very fundamental ways. Forcing kids to eat meat, dead animals, forcing kids to swear allegiance to a flag when they can't possibly understand the deep political history behind that flag or the words they speak.

And yet, a basic, enjoyable physical act with someone they want to do that act with is disgusting? It's fascinating how we are able to live our lives with blinkers on, cherry picking what we can tolerate in others with absolutely no knowledge of those people or their lives or situations.
