Online predator hunters- do they go after people just for chatting to minors (even if nothing illegal happened?

Post by Grunko »

I wondered if there has been sting operations where they have gone after people just for saying they are a MAP or just chatting to minors even if nothing sexual or illegal has been mentioned. Like if someone has been harrased by them just saying they want to just hang out or find young girls attractive or just chatting generally about stuff (but nothing illegal or sexual). Did someone get stung just for saying they were a MAP but no evidence they were going to commit an illegal act?

I'm fairly sure they don't really care about whether sex was discussed, just connecting is enough to be considered fair game.
These hunters are not really interested in child protection or creating any kind of positive safety situation for kids, they're just looking for kicks and know that anyone even just talking to a kid won't get much defence from others. I'd avoid talking to kids you don't know but connect with online.

If you really want to connect with kids then in todays world it's safer online, such as meeting neighbors with families etc.
Keep every stone they throw at you. You've got castles to build.

Pedo hunters don't actually like or care about kids, so they can't imagine that anyone would want to talk to a kid for any reason other than sex.

Yes.

They act like an adult chatting with someone under 18 online is one of the most heinous, abhorrent, evil crimes to ever be committed.

Of course. Does a duck hunter think about how innocent the birds are before shooting them? You think these vigilantes have any ethics about which MAPs they try to destroy? Due process means nothing to them. Legal rights? Irrelevant. They are in it for their personal glory, nothing else. And they achieve it by targeting the most hated demographic that nobody dares to defend, because they're cowards. It's easier to go after the low hanging fruit, so that's how these bullies satisfy their lust for power and control over other humans' lives. They target the underdogs that nobody will help. Makes them feel real big.

Lots of MAPs have been outed by antis for not having broken any laws at all. Are vigilantes really any different than 'anti' activists?

Let's look at this from both a practical and evolutionary psychological perspective. Four things are going on

1) Child protection instincts
2) Social Media praise/status seeking
3) Decoy accounts that never loose interest and act ultra clingy - thus failing to simulate a real child's behavior
4) low hanging fruit (Special Needs adults being caught) in many Predator hunters like Alex Rosen DAP and more.

These "predator hunters" do care about children but as I stressed before these are just irrational child protection instincts motivating them, not logical intuitions but viscera from nature. Humanities prehistoric evolution was filled with extremely high childhood mortality. 200,000-10,000 years ago countless cases of brutality starvation, dangerous animals eating kids and freezing to death. Thus our large brains favored very strong child protection instincts that back fire and mismatch against peaceful MAPs in the modern world

So establishing that hypothesis I can add further that predator hunters create EXTREMELY UNREALISTIC SCENARIOS and catch PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS WHO HAVE ZERO CHANCE OF SUCCEEDING WITH MINORS. Let me explain exactly why I believe these two claims in all capitals.

Predator hunters decoy accounts never take no for an answer
The "predator hunter" creates an extremely unrealistic scenario because the decoy account never says no and never loses interest. A real 12 year old on Discord can lose interest and get bored and is only likely to cling if they are genuinely attracted. They are very unlikely to fall in love with a middle aged man or special needs adult on the other end. But with "predator hunters" they never take no one for an answer. This is one of the major reasons why "predator hunters" keep catching special needs adults and old fat guys that have zero chance with chicks. They're baiting and going after Low hanging fruit for Youtube fame. "Predator Hunter" Alex Rosen gets critiqued many times in his Rumble Comment section for going after low hanging fruit, easy targets. So the gist is. The "predator hunter" sets up a decoy 12 year old account on a dating app, said account never says no to anyone and acts clingy. A special needs adult on the app loses to all real women accept the 12 year old. Thus the predator hunters picked low hanging fruit by never giving up.

I hope I explained my case. We can see the rich nuance of how "predator hunters" are motivated by both child protection instincts and social media praise. In evolutionary terms social media praise translates to status seeking and from an evolutionary psychological angle we can argue that status seeking/boosting status among peers in prehistoric times is a way to signal fitness and attract mates. So now we know why status seeking for social media fame and attention plays a role as well.

A desire to make themselves look better while silently abusing and oppressing others. Classic traits of NPD and psychopathy (though more tied to NPD). These people look for any excuse to harm and mistreat others, and will commonly go with what's the most seen and known at the time. The level of entitlement they have drives them to see themselves as the savior protectors so others will not see the true abuse happening.

They typically go for those who even simply seem like they're doing something wrong. These toxic types will take even the most remote similarities and inflate them for attention, boosting their ego and social status.

Every well-meaning MAP should do this.

I met some cute neighbor boys this week, but I need to learn their language. Boys being boys, the language barrier didn't stop one of them jumping on my motorcycle as I rode away, which was kind of hilarious.

Time for some intensive self-study of a language that shall not be named!
