I wonder how statutory rape of older minor teens is treated in prison?

Post by Theendoftheline »

Kinda a high thought (weed) but i was sitting here thinkin so, like normal pedos or MAPS in prison that have actually harmed children sexually are to say the least not gonna have a great time, so that got me wondering. How does the average inmate view say a 26 yo that slept with a 17 got caught and sent to prison? Id imagine its still a "minor" so some would still view it like "you fucked a child" since legally speaking they ARE a child, but I was just wondering has prison as well went...and this is weirdly, odd to say but, "woke" and "modern" in terms of thinking teens are little babies or is their slightly if only a little more lee way in terms of older minor teens?

No reason I'm asking that I just thought it was a neat question and could make for some actual good discussion.

I think the 'regular' inmates need a target to bully. It's not well-intended disgust. Under 18 is a good enough excuse.

That's actually a fair point, shitty people are always looking for low hanging fruit to torment and what better option than a "rapist" even if it wasn't actually rape.

Edit: I think I am learning more about human psychology here than about anywhere else, some of these points I see here are really insightful.

Those are not 'normal paedos or MAPs.' The vast majority of child lovers will never harm a kid.

A few people have written on this here recently, that the whole 'paedophiles get abused in prison' narrative is mostly just propaganda meant to terrorise MAPs, and to make it seem like even serial rapists and murderers have a 'higher morality' than those monstrous people who love children. It's ridiculous nonsense, spread by law enforcement and the media, to scare people like you.
In the absence of a clear blueprint, a good imagination is essential.
