I think I've made an interesting discovery related to pedophilia and politics? According to the results of bigkinksurvey, there seems to be an anomaly when it comes to selecting pedophilia as a kink parameter compared to the political leaning of a person.



As you can see in the picture, there is a clear tendency that suggests right-leaning/conservative people are more represented in having a sexual attraction towards children than left-leaning/liberal people do. The odd thing is that if you select any other kink there is always a tendency towards liberals dominating or at least a nearly balanced chart.



This picture also shows that liberals are generally more kinky. This makes sense when it comes to kinks being generally dominated by them, but why is it different for pedophilia which is even listed in the "common kink" category?

I can only imagine that it's because left-leaning/liberal people are actually more system-affirmative than right-leaning/conservative people at this point. That's why there might be a heavier self-denial when it comes to this certain topic. But maybe it can be explained in another way?

Nevertheless I recommend everyone to check out bigkinksurvey as it really provides some interesting insights towards sexuality and identity. You can definitely experiment a lot there and there are other parameters related to pedophilia as well.

When I was younger I struggled with my feelings, I found it hard to accept my sexuality. It took a long time and help through map forums for me to really understand that my sexuality isn't a bad thing, it's just who I am and it can be a very beautiful thing. My sexuality makes me more empathetic towards children, it makes me take the time to listen to them and relate to them, it drives me to encourage them and to want the best for them, it means I notice them both their physical beauty and their mental and spiritual beauty.

If I could switch my sexuality then I wouldn't because it would be removing the thing that I believe has led to my best human qualities.

I don't really understand it myself. I think in some way reactionary ideologies can partially fetishize innocence and such. I think it can also appeal to rightwing misogynist types who want a submissive wife and so think "the younger the better".
I think more likely is just that the right especially libertarian circles have been more accepting of it. I think if you did a poll back in the 60s and 70s it'd be a more left wing thing. All the big map movements were leftwing or leftwing adjacent at the time. They were crushed along with the patriarchal rollback of Reagan.

For what it's worth, I'm a moderate libertarian. People have accused Mu reps as being everything from far-left to far-right, but none of us have extreme political leanings.
