If they really want help someone, try getting them what they want (as long as it doesn't amount to harming people) instead of trying to curb it. Curbing tends to do more harm than good.

I refuse to believe that majority of us seek to harm children. Being a slave to a 9-5 causes more depression in human beings than any sexual encounter a minor would have with an adult.

What purpose does your whataboutism serve? I'm not engaged in the justification of my attraction by means of society bashing. My attraction is already just, and society's incapability to consistently and successfully raise healthy children is a separate issue.
