Why are minors today so truthful about age?

Perhaps they're more morally conscious, or they're used to people allowing them into NSFW sections even if they're kids? Two very distinct realities. But I don't really know, haven't been part of this world myself.

Well there are a lot of bad communities I suppose (as in people not upholding such rules or caring about such things). I mean I'd think exposure to sexual content before the age of 18 was the norm.

They have been intimidated by their caregivers and by society.
Another reason is that "minor" status in Anglo-American culture gives them power.

The really harmful thing is that early-teens today are raised to be activists (either for woke causes or by the far-right) on twitter about causes they don't actually care about and which are above their level of understanding, while being mistrustful to adults who actually want to care for them and are interested in their development.

Yeah they do, minors these days for whatever reason do not even really want to grow up and they take lots of pride in being "helpless babies that cannot take accountability for anything". To the point that like I said they are very emotionally invested in the whole rabid anti age gap cause, anyone over 18 even just turned 18 not dating another teen that's a day below 18 etc. It's pretty weird how just crazed they get about it to. I seen a kid once in a server get publicly called out and mocked because he was not 18 yet and sent porn to someone in DMs and all the puriteens just fucking ragged on him saying how he's a minor and shouldn't even be looking up such content to begin with. Pretty wild.
