Viewing active topics

I just had my access to view profiles and search restricted. I enjoyed these, but fair enough if you want more security.

What's really vital for my ability to even engage with the forum however, is viewing the list of active topics. If I can't do that, then I'm pretty much running blind, and I can't easily interact here. This is usually a /search.php?search_id=active_topics link in phpBB, so I assume it was restricted because it's part of the search system, but I don't know if something could be done about it?

A few temporary measures have been bought in to deal with the troll group who developed an interest in MAP Forum. We'll be back to normal soon.

I disabled the permission for users below Senior Members to search the board and view profiles. This will make datamining our users much more cumbersome.

I'll look for a solution to your particular complaint, but I don't know if one exists.
