teens need to NOT confess

Post by Theendoftheline »

That if they are in a relationship with an adult and have sexual interactions....the law cannot do SHIT if they JUST KEEP THEIR MOUTH SHUT.

So many adults end up in prison simply because they were with someone under 18 and the teenager was pressured to confess by parents/law enforcement and made to be a "victim". No ones sticking a gun to their head and forcing them to confess....thoughts?

I don't blame them when all of society gaslights them to go against their own experiences. They could simply shut their mouth but I expect them to falter under these circumstances.

This is not totally true. In fact, I recently read a personal story on another forum that contradicts this.
Well a week later, the police corner my daughter ( now 19), and want her to confirm the report of sexual abuse by me, she denied it ever happened, and told me about it!

A couple weeks later, they corner her again, and this time they threaten her with arrest and jail time, if she doesn't make a statement against me!
she is scared and submits, I am arrested a couple hours later.
Indeed, some "victims" get cornered, pressured, and yes even threatened into confessing. Be it by police, their parents, or whoever else, it happens. It's a story I've heard quite a few times, actually. Perhaps you are able to handle such pressure pretty well yourself, but not everyone can, that those are the ones they specifically target. And you don't hear about this part because they don't want you to hear about this part. It certainly doesn't get covered in the media at least.

You know how we talked about shit that got me ANGRY, like so fucking angry I cant stand it? That's one of those things.

I guess at least in the u.s. the antidote for such bullshit is you LEGALLY do NOT have to admit a THING especially if made up or not true no matter your age. We need to impress upon under18s that they have rights and teach them to be VERY headstrong and explain to them that often times police will say literally anything to get a case confession.

I just do not understand how any individual officer or group of officers could do shit like that and....go home and sleep at night like nothing happened....sending an innocent man to jail and possibly prison. That's the thing, is even "good" cops will at some point in their career lie about some bullshit in an attempt to close and win a case even if they knows its bs.....

I've heard it takes a certain sort of personality to excel on the police force. Probably the same sort of personality that excels in the business world.

Part of the issue maybe is bitterness when relationships end.

For over-18s who have had a breakup there is often desire for retribution. At least they joke about it. Not all cases obv. Some perfectly amicable. But significant number.

So for under-18s in that situation it might be easy to pull a trigger. IF they have that bitterness at breakup. SOme might.

And that is before the "grooming" by authority to adhere to a particular view of what happened.

It's just bullshit how society goes "awww you poor baby you was groomed" after.

Life wisdom, experiences good and BAD, taught me to keep my mouth shut. Where is that life lived wisdom with teens ? I've never seen it.

Newgon has sections featuring abuse of authority. Any verifiable examples, we could add to these articles:
