Teacher is preventively arrested after suspected pedophilia in Marau

A man suspected of rape of vulnerable and sexual harassment of children and adolescents was arrested on the afternoon of Monday (02). The preventive arrest warrant was served by the local Civil Police, in the Antônio Carlos Oltramari Subdivision, near the Rodeios Municipal Park.
According to preliminary information, this is a 34-year-old teacher. The fact investigated for more than two months culminated in arrest after several complaints received, including through the Department of Education of the municipality of Marau. As explained by delegate Norberto Rodrigues to the Vang FM report, the man would have already worked in several educational entities in the municipality.
After the legal procedures, the suspect will be sent to the Regional Prison of Passo Fundo, where he remains at the disposal of justice.
