Not sure, there. The prurient tone of the coverage treads a very thin line when it comes to banalization of the mens' relationship with their sons, who are basically being compared to porn actors. A lot more details were revealed in this case than in others - "let's prove how bad these gays really are". The political slant against LGBT people and gay adoption lends itself to a pedophile normalization narrative or at least an anti-assimilation narrative, which are positives for us. You can argue this type of story lowers the bar for other types of pervert, by showing that perversion is widespread and relatable to social media, etc.

I don't see why you have a problem with it. A scenario like this would be very common in a world where pedophilia was accepted. Par for the course, even. Which is exactly why I don't support it.

The extraordinary thing about this case was the public flouting of sexual norms, and the stupidity of the parents, which looks almost like antireligion. They were openly gay men living out a liberal dream, or conservatives would say "roleplay" of being parents to boys.
