Have you tried dating outside of your usual attraction? How'd it go?

A place to talk about Minor-Attracted People, and MAP/AAM-related issues. The attraction itself, associated paraphilia/identities and AMSC/AMSR (Adult-Minor Sexual Contact and Relations).

I'm sure all the MAPs here have a story or two. But I'm also curious to hear from any AAMs.

I've never tried it, and I very much doubt it would work.

But I think I'm in a minority of MAPs in this case.

Well, I'm non-exclusive but I prefer 8-10 year olds. I had an ex-girlfriend who was very short, I found the relationship quite fulfilling.

To go on a tangent, finding relationships is hard even if you're attracted to people that are above the age of consent. I feel like there's this misconception some MAPs have that if you were a teleiophile you'd have a romantically fulfilling life.

I feel like the stigma on pedophilia is partially symptomatic of broader problems. There are a people in society that are deeply sex averse, that try to dictate the norms of society. Increasingly, I think the concept of "sexceptionalism" gets at the heart of the problem. The attempts to reduce the presence of sexuality in society is it's own kind of perversion, an irrational fetishizing of chastity.
