Could we have an auto-save feature for drafts?
I just wrote a relatively lengthy reply to Building on "The MAP community needs to chill", only for me to press post and find I was logged out. In the past what I've written has still been there when I log in again, but this time it blanked it all.
Taking a break.

I'm sorry for that. Session timeout was 1 hour. It's 3 hours now. You can always click "Save draft" to keep your text draft saved. Of course, you have to remember that. Another way if you ran into the login form might be going back in your browser tab (←). This sometimes brings back the editor window with your text. Depends on your browser whether that works or not.PorcelainLark wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2025 2:41 pm I just wrote a relatively lengthy reply to Building on "The MAP community needs to chill", only for me to press post and find I was logged out. Besides that, if you know (or realize) you're going to write a long text I can only recommend writing the text in an separate text editor (can be as simple as the Notepad editor on your Windows machine) and only copy it to the forum window when you're ready to submit it.
