Greetings, Everyone!
While my name here is different, I'm sure all of you will know me from my name on VoA; Revolution (most call me Rev for short). I have decided to join here because of a serious need for a sane means forward that has historic precedent to pull from. I appreciate the efforts under way, here, and have been told about what is planned.
I have been a member of the MAP community since 2004. I have seen the rise of and fall of many phases of activism, and this has shaped my positions. These positions are often unique, but certainly not extreme.
Most critically of all of these beliefs is that holding antis and other proponents of the AoC and anti-CP laws for doing more harm to children than good is necessary for our success, because it shows we care about the plight of minors under the status quo, not just MAPs. I don't want to create a debate in this thread, but rather, give all of you an understanding of where I am coming from whenever I debate where permitted on this forum. I have discussed some of the ways in which our current laws negatively impact minors in articles I have I written from AliceLovers Magazine (or ALM).
As many of you may already known, I have been the longest-standing editor of ALM. I have served from issue #2 until issue #5, and have helped shape the e-zine into what it is; a manifest of the communities thoughts, feelings, heartbeat, and voice. As TRL has already discussed, we are in the midst of rebooting ALM after years of hiatus. This reboot was prompted by us seeing the consequences of its absence; a stagnating community. Thus, we aim to reinvigorate the MAP community's spirit through bringing this project back!
All in all, I am looking to take part in important work here.
Thank you for having me

Re: Hello from VoA/ALM
Nice to meet you, Gregory!
We're really happy to see so many GLs joining us, as MAP activism has been too much of a BL-dominated space since LA and TN ceased their efforts.
Please let us know if you'd like to contribute any articles to Mu.
We look forward to seeing you on our forums.

Re: Hello from VoA/ALM
A very warm welcome, Rev/GB.
It's a privilege having someone with your history and experience with activism in the MAP community here. Your work on AliceLovers Magazine has been an important form of activism in itself. Looking forward to your input.

In the absence of a clear blueprint, a good imagination is essential.
