How will the 2025 German general elections affect German MAPs?

How will the 2025 German general elections affect German MAPs?

Post by Artaxerxes II »

I'm not German, so I would like to know what MAPs in Germany think of the recent elections in Germany, which saw the AfD becoming the second largest party in Germany, a groundbreaking result for a party that was ruled as being "suspected for extremism" under a court ruling: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-69003733

It's yet to be seen if the rest of the German political scene will abide by the long-standing tradition of not allying with the AfD to form a coalition government. But if it does, the CDU may break the tradition.

As for MAPs in Germany, even I can tell that things won't bode well for them, given that the AfD has been one of the main pushers of pedophobia in Germany, especially via its publication of the link between MAP rights activism and the Greens in the 1980s. Given the americanisation of the European right under the rise of Populism, Inc. a la LePen, Wilders, Farage, Meloni, etc..., it's not unlikely that an AfD coalition government will begin a crackdown on MAPs, be it anti-Cs or pro-Cs, liberal or not.

For now, it's too early to tell as the new chancellor (i.e., the German equivalent of a prime minister), a standard CDU member, has yet to assume office, but regardless I don't think the future for MAPs in Germany is going to be bright going forward. One example of such a negative change might be the re-introduction of mandatory chemical castration for any sexual offence, given the AfD campaigning on a tough-on-crime and Law&Order-type campaign.

Regardless, share your thoughts here, and please be civil.

My main concern is what might happen to those involved in the Dunkelfeld program.
The current program promises confidentiality but how will this more extremist group handle that data?

Go after anyone who sought help? I don't believe participants had to give any identifying information, but still.

If so and they go after these people; label them all as monsters and throw them behind bars for life - the system is so backwards. It's no wonder why so many of us hide behind a false persona and never talk about our attractions publicly.
MAP/MAA - Male - AoA Girls 5+ - I aspire to raise awareness
Judge us for our actions, not the attractions we didn't ask for.

The most likely coalition will be a Grand Coalition between the CDU/CSU and SPD, I don't think it is very likely that the AfD will enter into the government. I would not find it surprising if the new German government, eager to find targets to distract people away from their inevitable failure, focuses on pedophilia and other targets that everyone hates. All of the parties have become Americanized through various methods and witch trials focused on sexuality are going to be one of the effects. That's what happens when countries are colonies, they follow their colonial overlord.

Wanted to take this up again, as I might be able to give some more details as a German.

The coming coalition between CDU/CSU and SPD was quite obvious for months already. Many people were anxious about a possible AfD coalition, but as far as I can tell, the chance for such a coalition to happen is almost 0 (at least on federal level), as there really is too much resistance from the other parties, as well as from German society.

As for now, the coalition talks are still ongoing, but there might be some tendencies within this government, as I can tell. We know that the CDU is very sympathetic to applying police state measures, they also loudly demand data storage for IP addresses. Of course they argue with cases of PIM, grooming and so on. So for that, they will basically fight anything that's connected to MAPs, as it's the usual excuse for general censorship. As for the SPD, they are inclined to be against such measures, but they are heavily opportunistic as well, so I would not give much hope into that.

But given that this topic is barely discussed in public (there are way more political topics that will be prioritized for now), there is enough hope that we won't see much change than we have already. Personally, from what I have taken away for the last years, there has already been moderate action to censor MAP related sites on search engines, especially lolicon related content, so there is not really much of a turn to expect, if it stays that way.

Coming back to AfD, it's indeed true that they pose a heavy threat to MAPs, but not as a possible part of government, but as for the public opinion itself. As a strong right-populist party with cult-like followers, they are very good at influencing what people believe in. And as one can guess, they are also the loudest voice for anti-MAP sentiments. There have been multiple mentions of AfD politicians about "hunting down pedophiles" and similar. And the worst part about this is that the CDU is known to adapt basically anything coming from the far-right, just about when it becomes mainstream, just to attract conservative voters. So yeah, I think what most matters is how the public image of MAPs will do in the near future.

Besides the German elections, what I can generally say: It's really dangerous for MAPs in what direction society is heading right now.
