I don’t know if anyone has ever heard of a site called “everyone’s invited” which is a place where victims share their stories and experiences of being sexually abused.
A lot of these stories are about people who have been abused during childhood/adolescence.
I posted this is because the general public seem to have this view that child sexual abuse is always done by an adult or someone much older than the child. Yet reading a lot of these stories, a lot of the predators happen to be minors themselves who are similar age to the victim or sometimes younger than the victim. The victims try to tell someone about it, yet no one does anything about it or doesn’t seem to take it seriously and children cannot get away from their abusers. It shows that anyone of any age can be a potential risk to children, not just adults/those much older than them. It is so sad.
Everyone’s Invited- testimonies from survivors/victims.
Re: Everyone’s Invited- testimonies from survivors/victims.
Yeah, "CoCSA" (child on child sexual abuse) seems pretty common. Early teen boys looking for an outlet for their sexuality can be particularly predator.
Imagine if they had a caring BL who would take that sexual potential and put it to health use, instead.
Seriously though, we don't want to be too punitive towards minors who act out sexually. But some of them really lack empathy when engaging sexually with others.
It's also why I think an age of consent with romeo and juliet exemptions is silly. Who is more likely to treat their partner well- a horny, inexperienced 14 year old, or an experienced, matured 28 year old?
Would be funny if a bunch of people with positive memories bombed that site. "Everyone" is invited, after all.

I guess "bad victims" are not invited.Only submissions that refer to personal, first hand experiences of rape culture are posted.

Besides the obvious criticism that 'bad victims' probably aren't invited, and your testimony will be ignored if you go against the narrative, it just seems like an overall unprofessional site that isn't handling data very well.
"9 out of 10 girls had received unsolicited images and been subject to sexist name calling"
The Ofsted review that this is citing didn't specify images being sent to them. The question in the review was if they had ever had images sent to them or someone they know, with no stated attempt to distinguish or verify. Of the 90% of girls that said yes, anywhere between 0% and 90% of them could have answered yes on the grounds of 'My friend Lizzie said someone sent her this!'.
Genuinely — if they asked every girl at a school and every attending girl knew one person called Mia that got sent an unsolicited dick pic, and absolutely no one else did, the review would have written 100%.
It just bugs me when these on-topic anti resources can't handle data well, because it's this mishandling of data that makes its way into policy.

Could literally just bomb them with stories from Consenting Juveniles and Positive Memories.
Could be a fun little activist project.

Sounds like it would be a fun little activist project. I don't think I've ever found places that share such positive stories, so I'm gonna check that out. The only ones I've ever seen appear briefly, on say Reddit, before being bombarded in the comments then subsequently removed by mods.Fragment wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:29 pm Could literally just bomb them with stories from Consenting Juveniles and Positive Memories.

Because that goes against the narrative that all AMSC is harmful and detrimental to the lives of minors.Fragment wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:04 amI guess "bad victims" are not invited.Only submissions that refer to personal, first hand experiences of rape culture are posted.

Personally, I can’t stand age of consent laws that have closer in age exceptions (as you said Romeo and Juliet laws) for many reasons….Fragment wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:01 am Yeah, "CoCSA" (child on child sexual abuse) seems pretty common. 1. It implies that sexual/romantic relationships between teenagers and adults/people much older than the teenager are always abusive, exploitive, manipulative and harmful when sources like Consenting Juveniles shows it not always the case.
2. I find it very dehumanising because your made to feel those who are more closer to your age have more priority or are more entitled to be with you than someone who is from a different age group. I do not like being treated like I am a property or a possession of people who are similar to my age. My body, my choice.
3. I find it incredibly discriminatory towards age because it implies adults/people who are much older than the teenager has bad intentions and people who are similar age to the minor doesn’t when testimonies from ‘everyone’s invited’ proves that sometimes children can have bad intentions.
4. I believe people should be free to hang out with whoever they like and love whoever they like regardless of age or gender etc. So what if a teenager is dating someone who is much older than them; if they are happy, they respect each other and treat each other well and there is no abuse etc. that is all that should matter. I feel Romeo and Juliet laws/close in age exceptions conflict human rights and freedom.
5. I think with these Romeo and Juliet laws/close in age exceptions, there is a possibility that some MAP’s (particularly pro-c) may be tempted to act on their urges just to prove that age gap relationships between minors and adults can be positive, mutual and harmless and are no different than relationships between two minors: obviously everyone is an individual and all relationships would be different and unique.
Re: Everyone’s Invited- testimonies from survivors/victims.
I was SAed by an Uncle. I was chloroformed so I was out of it for the experience, and I didn't really put everything together till an old man. I wonder how many other MAPS have been SAed.

Not all good activism is respectful. See, for example, The Yes Men or some of what the Situationist International did back in the 1950s and 1960s.
There are times for carefully measured disrespect when you're directly confronting an enemy that has little or no respect for you. MAPs often find themselves in such a situation, as society consistently and heinously disrespects us.
