Age of Attraction... but for AAMs?
We maps can be divided into a few categories based on our ages of attraction: nepiophiles are attracted to children up to about three years old, pedophiles generally prefer prepubescent children 10 years of age and under, hebephiles have a taste for 11 to 14 year old youths in the throes of puberty and early adolescence, and ephebephiles have their sights set on late adolescents 15 and older. Most of us fit pretty neatly into one or two of these categories. Seeing the great diversity in the attractions of maps has lead me to wonder if this range is replicated in the attractions of our young counterparts. Aams of the forum, do you have a preferred age of attraction? Are you most attracted to young adults ~10 years older than you, or do you prefer someone more mature, someone old enough to be your parent? Or are you, perhaps, a gilf-lover?

Hi it's cool that I have find your post because I wanted to create one to ask if AAM can also have a AoA
In general I would say
from like 25 to 30 for me ! I say « in general » because I will definitely not say no if she is like 20 or 35 and we have a great connection

You're not bothered by the fact that the bodies of men in their 30s and older generally aren't as fit? I mean, I personally feel that my own body was more attractive in my teens and early 20s; I don't have a belly, but I don't have that neat 6-pack and well-defined musculature anymore, since I'm not an athlete but a sedentary intellectual/writer. I do find my face to be more attractive now than back then, though.babyflowers wrote: Mon Apr 14, 2025 5:57 pm hiiii id honestly love to answer this question because i never get to talk about it besides with my friend group at school lollll but my fav age of attraction is usually people 25 and up for me i just think guys start to get really like idk how to explain like super masculine and like this gonna sound weird but a man body around that agebut my fav ages for guys is like mid 30s for me personally i just like how they look physically and they have good experience by then and everything lol but i would personally date anyone up to like mid 50s and for my taste in girls it’s kinda the same i LOOOVVEE milfs so yeah that should tell u a lot

Also, you're bisexual? You hadn't mentioned that previously. You should try the Kinsey Scale test.

I can somewhat understand the 'hebephile' category if it's for people who prefer partners who look like average 11-14 year olds, because average girls at least in that age group have started puberty without necessarily being completely sexually mature but I think the 'ephebephile' category is meaningless. 15 and 16-year-olds have secondary sex characteristics, so if you're attracted to women in their 20s and 30s you have to be attracted to some of them, even 11-14 year olds do but at least you can say they haven't fully matured (even then, breast size and hip curviness differs among fully grown women so I don't see why we're categorizing people based on whether or not they've fully matured, especially when what dictates physical attraction is what you look/sound like and not whether or not your body has actually completed puberty in ways that don't impact your outward appearance. The average girl starts thelarche at 10, 10.5 apparently, and if I'm not mistaken the process typically takes around 2 years, although a girl's breasts can grow after that).
I have heard women say that they prefer older men because they perceive them as more dominant (I have never wanted to play a dominant role in a relationship. In some fantasy world where I was dating a 12/13-year-old I'd really have no choice to just because of the age difference but when it comes women in their 20s or even mid-late teens, I really don't see them as very different than myself. That's not to say that I wouldn't want to pay the bill in its entirety even though I'm broke and unemployed in real life, I would, but I generally don't do gender roles. I would, to the best of my ability, physically protect someone I care about because I care about them, not because it's my job as a man to to play the protector role, I would also want to nurture someone I cared about; at least without social anxiety/in a fantasy scenario. I'm more attracted to the idea of being a nurturer than a protector even though I can't see why both men and women can't be both. I'll resist the urge to get into how much diversity, in terms of personality, there is among middle-aged people and how that plays out in terms of relationships between people in their 20s and people who are significantly older, I sometimes think that being 'middle-aged' doesn't mean exactly what it used to, it can mean a suit and tie and the King's English but there are middle-aged rappers who basically act like young men in some ways and I don't remember that back in the 90s/2000s. Anyway, I'll cut this tangent off here) but I think there's an important distinction to be made between the idea of an older partner based on age-related expectations/social status and a physical preference for men/women who look older per se.
I know this is for AAMs but personally I'm attracted to femaleness and to some extent that transcends a lot of age difference.
