Great observation! However, while his inexperience might explain some of the argument flaws, I find it hard to justify his judgmental tone.InfinityChild wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 10:20 pm Ironically Gone Fishing's greatest argument for his side was his "youthful inexperience" in making his arguments, I ended up feeling sympathy towards him because of him not having that much in the way of depth of knowledge. We all (including me) need to work on our critical thinking and should be taught it more in school.
I finished today hearing the interview and the final part was even more painful than I expected. I'm referring to the part where the interviewer is gratuitously doubling down in his judging towards Fragment. I found it so unfair, because, acting honestly as Fragment did, he cannot defend himself, and there was no other party in the show which could do that. So, in a weak attempt to remedy that, I will repeat what Fragment says at the beginning of the interview: what if he is right?
