Perusing the bibliographies and archival papers from the 1980s, one cannot help but observe that, save for the formalities of institutional involvement, the [MAP] discourse was remarkably spirited and intellectually fertile. What, then, has transpired? Despite the relative anonymity afforded by the Internet, we are met now with an eerie silence.
