Another example of people infantilizing teens and taking away their rights. They think that teens are babies when often times they are smarter than adults. This law is just another unfortunate byproduct of the hysteria in today's culture. Also, many people who claim to support free speech are supporting this bill. Hypocritical.

While I agree that social media in some capacity can be bad for youth, out-right banning it will change nothing and improve nothing.
You are telling teens, who are already on social media, that they can't use it anymore. That is not going to work and they will actively work to fight against it to get around it.
The actual solution is not the government trying to be a nanny for all teens, but rather helping provide parents with the tools to parent their children. The government is once again deciding something for everyone in the name of "protection". This does not work.
