Hi my name is Jade I am a 17 year old transfemme aam and kinda a map? I don't know if me like LG and LB as a minor myself counts or not hehe. I've been technically apart of this community since I was about 10 or 11 years old without realizing it. I've always felt weird and different and like a freak so I'm hoping this place can help me feel a little more human and like myself. I am from southeastern U.S and I like playing video games, music, reading, writing, and most things cause I have a little tism hehe.

It is generally assumed that if they are in an earlier phase of their development, and you are noticeably and preferentially attracted, you are a MAP, hebephile, pedophile or whatever, regardless of your own age.

Unless you're attracted to people significantly younger than you, it's hard to say for certain until you're older. Also we've had a few AAMs here that thought they were MAPs because they were into loli/shota, but it turned out they were identifying with the child in those scenarios. Personally, I've known since I was at least 12 that I was attracted to people younger than me. Either way, AAMs and MAP allies are welcome here, too.

There are lots of other autistic people here, myself included. I wonder if the combination of autistic people being prone to noncomformity, and prone to black and white thinking, makes autistic MAPs more likely push back against the current norms and want to be more open about who they are? I know a big motivation for being interested in activism in my case is because I hate misleading people, even by omission.

Oh yeah, I'm sure you're aware but be careful if you're in Florida or going there, things have been getting more dangerous for MAPs there.

Well I am into things like lolicon and what not even as I'm entering into young adult hood, my age range is 5-13ish and that hasn't changed for a few years

Welcome to Mu Forum Jade, I can relate to your feelings about being weird, I have been "the weird boy" since I was 6 or 7 years old haha although that doesn't make us "less human" and I personally think that being ourselves despite being part of a opressed group like MAPs and AAMs only make us more human than the average (because its no easy to be a good person when most people think we are "monsters")

I don't know that much about Florida (I'm from Europe), I just recall hearing about them recently allowing the death penalty for child sexual offenses.
