I generally don't consider AMS to be an emotional argument though. I view sex with a toddler to be equal to having sex with someone who is drugged up or unconscious. Having sex with someone who is not aware that they are having sex just feels violating.
I also think that some morals are based on emotions so as to reduce conflict between people in groups. Some emotions can be so harmful (trauma, anxiety, etc...) that some moral interventions get created for it. Privacy is pretty much an emotional argument for example. There is no reason why data shouldn't be harvested unless for political reasons.
