The losing of hope...

Post by liliets »

I always try to be optimistic to help others to dont lose hope, but sometimes hope is something that becomes hard to keep up for my self.

It's indeed quite difficult to be supportive of others when you feel hopeless yourself. It's something I've experienced, too. Then again, perhaps supporting other MAPs can help you to stop dwelling so much on your own problems? Of course, if you'd like to discuss your problems here, please feel free to do so.

Even if things are bleak, we have to stay strong for the next generation of MAPs. It's not just about our own well-being, we have a duty.

I am encumbered by a desire to simply let go of my life and self. I know in doing so will cause irreversible damage to people close to me and perhaps beyond, but that concern is gradually fleeting to my annoyance. Sometimes I feel my consciousness loosen and become something different, yet familiar. It is almost like a repression breaking through the layers of confinement. I feel liberated and sing alone until my voice becomes hoarse, and there I find the hope to continue living in this pain a little longer.
