Wine

Post by BLueRibbon »

When I first started drinking red wine, I preferred approachable and simpler new world wines. These days I find those wines quite boring, and I've developed a preference for the greater structure and austerity of certain old world wines.

What kind of wine do you like?

I used to be a big fan of dessert wines like Port and Ice Wines... but I can't drink a drop of alcohol anymore. Turns out I have a genetic defect that makes my body unable to metabolize ethanol properly. I had a short period of mild-to-moderate alcoholism after a breakup and it wrecked my liver as if I'd been a hardcore alcoholic for decades. I ended up in the hospital for over three weeks; my urine was nearly black.

I'm enjoying a Rioja right now. Not a huge fan of its characteristic vanilla undertones, but it's still nice.

I love moscato wine, very sweet and fruity wine.
That’s the only wine I drink.
Male and non exclusive.
I’m a girl-lover map.
Favourite name is Ruby.
