Full articleA lot of what I write about is MAP-related, either directly or tangentially. And in addition to sharing my thoughts on this blog, I also participate on a variety of MAP sites, where my opinions are often no less contentious than they are to the wider public. In this more personal article, I'll talk about why I write so provocatively.

Re: Illuminating the horror...
Reading this makes me think about why I don't visit places like BC. There is too much complacency in MAP communities; too many people pretending to be fulfilled, with a sad focus on talking about how they can contribute to a society that wants them dead over forcing changes that would see them accepted.
You read through some of it and you could convince yourself you're listening to an abused wife tell you that she deserved it, all she has to do is act a different way to make her husband happy and she'll be mostly okay.

Spot on, Bookshelf.
I actually wrote this article in response to criticism from BC posters.

This was really a pretty sad to read, but i still believing in doing MAP politics and activism.
Children are like a biopolitical project, whose innocence and image are preserved solely for the sake of social order.

Yes, childhood “innocence” only matters when you need to pass laws/rules restricting people, other than that, no one gaf. They arent really even people to the average anti anymore, just political weapons, a means to an end for full survillance and population control. We are going to “think of the children” into a 1984 dystopia, it already is lowkey that for MAPs, but it can and will get worsenicholas_weeks wrote: Sat Oct 18, 2025 2:29 pm This was really a pretty sad to read, but i still believing in doing MAP politics and activism.

I've been thinking about stuff like this a lot lately. Like situations where a naked picture of a child is legal unless the owner is a pedophile; or the motivation to prevent a person who is attracted to minors from having an educational role regardless of if they've committed a crime. The goal posts get shifted so that even things which are otherwise acceptable aren't allowed. And the reason they are terrified is because, deep down, they know that this is the best path toward MAP liberation.
I think it's a similar thing with the "normalization of pedophilia". It's a way of avoiding the idea that MAPs could be peacefully integrated into society. Like segregationists who claimed race riots would happen as an argument against desegregation, it's an excuse rather than a genuine concern. They don't want the outcome, so they invent harms, reasons why people should be concerned. With the segregationists one of the claims was that it would cause rape to occur, the idea that a consensual relationship between two people of a different race could occur wasn't something they had an easy way to condemn, that's because it was arbitrary. It's a similar situation with AMSC, it's easy to get everyone behind violent rape and coercion being bad, but the drive goes beyond that - they don't just had rape and coercion they had the idea of AMSC regardless.
That's something I wouldn't be as worried about. I think if that happens it's game over for everyone. Everyone has done and/or thought about stuff that society is disgusted by; if we could no longer play this game social media pushes us into of pretending to be flawless and above everyone else, I think it would be a good thing. Except, unfortunately there are no principles behind this stuff; sports teams close ranks when a member is accused of rape, so it is with the rest of society, if you're not part of an in-group you're fucked. There will come a day when they can identify us, and when that day comes, you can absolutely expect that we will be locked up (or worse) for our thoughts.
Not that I condone violence, but it's surprising there aren't examples of antis being pepper sprayed. I guess most MAPs' instinct is freeze or flight. If MAPs targeted like this stopped cowering in fear, and actually defended themselves, the bullying would quickly stop.

This would be legitimate self-defense in some jurisdictions, assuming the law was applied objectively. In a small number of jurisdictions, even shooting a gun at an attacker would be legally permissible.PorcelainLark wrote: Mon Oct 20, 2025 3:07 pmNot that I condone violence, but it's surprising there aren't examples of antis being pepper sprayed.
