Please understand how to use the quote function

A lot of people seem to have difficulty with quotes. Either making their own entire comment into a quote, or missing the source of the quote.

Quotes work as follows:

Direct quote: (quote)I think this(/quote)
Quote with another quote in it: (quote)(quote)I think this(/quote) I disagree(quote)

When you click the quotation mark in the top right corner of a post the site will generate something like this:
(quote="Jim Burton" post_id=19 time=1719746622 user_id=58)
This functions like (quote) but it links the quote back to where it's quoted from.

Please try to distinguish between what you're quoting and what you're writing, and please try to indicate where you're quoting from.

Replace "(" with "[" and ")" with "]" when you're using these.
