Can't belive I forgot about this, since I watched its pilot on Cartoon Network's YouTube channel back when it was first uploaded.
What’s the show about? A 12 year old girl in middle school who wants to never grow up has a secret world in her world where her imagination comes true, and she has to fight against the “butt witch”, a stand-in for adulthood.
Well, the show did eventually got accepted by Netflix where a total of 25 episodes for a single season were made. But then it got cancelled. But why? Here are some sources on the matter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_G1jm35OrWw

Not sure how real the allegations of sexual harassment against her is real given that they were posted anonymously on 4chan, but the fact that so many people zeroed in on the fact that she made some suggestive remarks about teen boys is just dumbfounding, and goes to show how, contrary to what some people think, it’s becoming increasingly harder Ben for female MAPs to get away from public backlash. The other example that I can think of would be that of Colleen Ballinger, who was accused of “grooming” a teenage boy that was one of her fans. What did it consist of? Some off-hand remarks that would fly over people’s heads had she said it to an adult.
I think that the sacralisation of “sexual assault” and its adjacent concepts like “grooming”, combined with general alienation in western society, as well as siloing people into strictly age segregated cohorts for the first 20 years of their lives — and not letting them exist outside those segregated spaces — is doing crazy things to our culture.
As an example, even platonic displays of affection between strangers of different ages is being stigmatised and scrutinised. What do you guys think of it?

I remember these cases and yeah i agree we now live in an era where things have gotten way too out of control than they ever were before.
