A corporal’s army career is ending in disgrace and he has “lost everything” over his sexual fantasies with a woman, York Crown Court heard.

Christopher Jacketts, 35, suggested to the woman he met online that they have sex while a child watched, said Michael Cahill, prosecuting.

She found the conversation so unsettling, she contacted police. They found illegal sexual images of children on his mobile phone.

Defence barrister Zarreen Alam-Cheetham said the woman blocked Jacketts on the dating app they were using.
