Las Vegas (KSNV) — Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson led a special ceremony on Thursday to shine a light on child sex trafficking and honor young survivors of this critical issue.
The event took place at the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, which was illuminated in blue to emphasize the urgent need for community action against child exploitation.
“This observance reminds us that protecting our children requires vigilance and compassion from every member of our community,” said Commissioner Jim Gibson.
“By lighting this sign in blue, we stand united with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to preventing exploitation and supporting those on their journey to recovery.”
