I agree with everyone here lol. If it's fiction it should be legal. No thought crimes.
In fact, anything written, drawn, or fake in any way should be legal regardless of how "bad" it is. If someone wants to write a "disgusting" and "extreme" erotic story coupled with highly realistic drawings ...

Re: Please tell me about your platonic friendships!
I'm friends with a lot of minors online and a few in person. My online friends know my age. Some of them are AAMs but the vast majority are not. The kids who are NOT AAMs do NOT know that I'm a MAP. I have known some of them for many years. For example, I met one girl when she was 11 (she lied about ...

Re: MAP material digitization
What an incredible project.
Where will this material be stored? What about storing copies on IPFS or even the more important documents on blockchains to ensure a permanent record exists? Only practical for basic text due to size and cost.
Would seeded torrents or Freenet be viable too? Even ...

Re: After Pro-Reform/12+
In my experience, and based on the research, I'm inclined to think that authoritarian approaches in even governance or in adult-child interaction leads to short term compliance but long term problems.
"Obey because I have the bigger stick" is very easy to understand, but it doesn't impart very ...

Re: Disputing the claim that "child pornography" is a multibillion dollar industry
There's likely far more money wasted in fighting cp that anyone actually makes from it. Groups like the ncmec intake a lot of capital and do nothing beyond target teenagers sending each other pictures or taking down the odd dude who uploaded a dozen pictures to Facebook or something

"Unhinged" lol. I was expecting worse.
LGBTQ+ undoubtably includes MAPs. We're queer.
It's understandable that some in the LGBTQ community would oppose us. There are differences of opinion so we cant just view LGBTQ as a single entity with one opinion. Queer people are still humans who may be ...

Re: Registered US nonprofit: We prefer “Mutilating A Pedophile”
I'm in favour of complaining.
I often report people who break rules by threatening to dox or hurt maps online and they're almost always punished. At the very least, rules and laws like that apply fairly. I think we ought to report to everywhere we can, including X itself or if they have a website ...

Re: Proud or not?
I consider myself unashamed and proud but at the same time I'm not "out" to anyone in person. I don't think it's because I'm secretly ashamed or not proud but just worried at everyone's reaction. I don't have any in person friends or family who seem like theyd be remotely accepting of maps.

Re: Wikipedia relaunches it's article on Pedophile Advocacy Groups
This article improved since the last time i read it. Last time it was directly biased against maps by claiming that groups sanctioned child abuse, which is a loaded term.
