It would be nice to also acknowledge that grooming, exploitation isn’t always perpetrated by the adult/someone older. Kids/teenagers can groom, exploitation and take advantage of other minors and/or adults. Sometimes the older partner may be more innocent and niave and the younger person (minor) could have more knowledge or can be very manipulative.
The 16/12 proposal should acknowledge this.
I know someone who at around 11-14 claimed they were groomed, exploited and taken advantage by someone of very similar age.

Sorry for my ignorance on this topic! But what does the 'AM' part of AMSC stand for? I guess SC is sexual contact? I have heard in the news of kids doing pretty nasty stuff to each other tbh... sharing nudes without consent, rating their peers etc. Kids can be hella mean sometimesGrunko wrote: Thu Jun 19, 2025 4:00 pm It would be nice to also acknowledge that grooming, exploitation isn’t always perpetrated by the adult/someone older. Adult-Minor Sexual Contact. So it's inclusive of sexual acts other that just statutory rape. There's a glossary here:RocketRack wrote: Fri Jun 27, 2025 3:42 pmSorry for my ignorance on this topic!
