A former WWE performer known to fans from the mid-1990s is scheduled to appear in court this week as he faces a felony charge tied to child sexual abuse material.

PWInsider reports that Michael Droese — better known during his wrestling career as Duke “The Dumpster” Droese — appeared in a Warren County Circuit Court in Tennessee on January 13 for a hearing listed as a “plea or trial selection.”

Frank Cascio and his siblings allege Michael Jackson groomed, manipulated, and molested them for decades, from the late 1980s until his death in 2009. Today, they appeared in a Beverly Hills courtroom seeking to void a “purported settlement” with Jackson’s estate that they describe as “an unlawful agreement to silence victims of childhood sexual abuse.”

A judge heard arguments on both sides and declined to issue an immediate ruling on the estate’s petition to force the Cascios into confidential arbitration. Marty Singer, a lawyer for the estate, told the court that the Cascio family members reached an initial “deal” with the estate in January 2020, later renegotiated it for “significantly more money upfront,” and now are seeking to file a public lawsuit that would violate the arbitration and confidentiality clauses of the original pact.

MADISON, Ind. (WAVE) - Former Madison Mayor Timothy Armstrong pleaded guilty to two felony child exploitation charges, avoiding prison time in a plea deal that has left the victim’s father unsatisfied.

Armstrong, who served as the city’s mayor between 2008 and 2011 and was a school resource officer in 2022, changed his plea during a hearing after two years with little case activity. The plea agreement suspends his five-year prison sentence to probation and drops nine of the 11 charges he originally faced.

Fans of 28 Years Later have sparked fury after turning up to watch the movie dressed as Jimmy Savile.

The post-apocalyptic horror film has come under intense scrutiny as the ending appears to pay homage to the evil peadophile. The latest instalment of the horror franchise, directed by famed director Danny Boyle, shows a 12-year old boy named Spike forced into the violent world of a Savile-inspired cult, led by unsettling cult leader Jimmy Crystal, played by Jack O’Connell).

As things gather pace, viewers are made aware that the cult are Kung Fu experts and their fashion sense has been inspired by prolific sex offender Savile, as they donned blonde wigs and his trademark shell suits. Fans have speculated why the pervert was referenced, and some have registered their disgust after the theatre dress up.

But the root of the quarrel stems from a much darker incident that occurred on the set of their 2017 breakout “Good Time,” Page Six Hollywood can reveal, with Benny cutting ties with his brother in 2023 after he learned the full scope of the event.

According to “Good Time” sources, a 17-year-old girl was cast to play a prostitute in the crime thriller. Once on set, the teenager was thrust into a scene that involved nudity and simulated sex with “actor” Buddy Duress during production in New York.

As part of their verité style, the Safdies were known for using a mix of professional stars like the film’s lead, Robert Pattinson, as well as non-actors like Duress, who had just been released from prison. (Duress, real name Michael Stathis, had been jailed numerous times dating back to 2009 on drug charges, weapons violations, fencing stolen property and motor vehicle theft, according to court records.)

While Josh watched the action unfold on his monitor, and Benny stood in the corner holding the boom, Duress, who was high at the time, pulled down his pants, exposed himself and asked the girl if “he could stick it in” as the cameras continued to roll, multiple sources tell Page Six Hollywood. (Duress died of a heroin overdose in November 2023.)

The man who appeared to be the front-runner to lead Guernsey's most senior political committee a few months ago, has admitted a string of offences involving indecent images of children.

Deputy Jonathan Le Tocq pleaded guilty on Thursday to the creation of thousands of illegal images, and possessing extreme pornography.

The NSPCC said his crimes helped "fuel a horrific industry, which can be devastating for victims, with further trauma caused by the knowledge that images have been shared online."

After his sentencing in January it is likely the former chief minister who has represented the island in Westminster and further afield, will be removed from the States, where he is a serving member.

Forest Green Rovers' manager Robbie Savage has spoken out about abusive behaviour from fans during the Nailsworth club's visit to Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

In a tense televised game, the narrow 3-2 defeat for the Gloucestershire side was marred by repeated chanting that the FGR manager was a "paedo" and "sex offender" and Mr Savage was seen to consult with the club's stewards over the fans' apparent distraction tactics.

Scunthorpe United has since said that the incident is being looked into by the governing body the Football Association.

Despite a subsequent tannoyed warning to fans in the Britcon stand of Scunthorpe's Attis Arena, signficant numbers of fans in the packed stand were heard to persist with the chanting on Saturday, in a pattern of behaviour that echoed an incident reported to the Football Association in late November last year, when FGR travelled to a game against Carlisle United.
