There are times for carefully measured disrespect when you're directly confronting an enemy that has little or no respect for you. MAPs often find themselves in such a situation, as society consistently and heinously disrespects us.

This is a good way to put it. Trying to be respectful has got us nowhere, maybe even a few steps backwards. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, after all.

You've unwittingly highlighted the issue: people "don't want to hear about it". That is why the Hegemonic Sex Fascist Narrative (HSFN) has such an iron grip on the social imaginary. Symposiums on human sexuality that are open to the public generally have their talks about children's sexuality behind closed doors because people don't want to hear those facts. Academic research on the topic is censored and open-minded researchers routinely get cancelled.

If we are to change anything about the way society views MAPs and AMSC (adult-minor sexual contact), a lot of people will have to hear some truths that make them uncomfortable. I don't know if this particular instance is one where it could be useful to deliberately undermine the HSFN through an informational guerilla, but I certainly wouldn't say it couldn't be.

Definitely! Interrogated over and over by the police pushing them to incriminate the person they love, often with outright manipulative tactics such as claiming that the youth's parents "will kill their partner" if he/she is freed. Lengthy court proceedings which the young person wants no part in. Forced into hours upon hours of "therapy" to cajole them into understanding how what they did willingly and pleasurably was "wrong"...

The way our society treats young people that do not fit the rigid mould defined by the HSFN is atrocious.
