I would assume the answer to the first is yes usually and the answer to the second is probably no usually. It depends on what you mean by "glorifying/ normalizing". I see "glorifying" as making something seem exceptional and special. It's kind of the opposite of normalizing, which is making something seem normal and common.

Glorifying pedophilia just seems delusional. I see some posters on BL forums say things that make me cringe. "Boys are the most beautiful creatures in existence and antis are the ones with the problem because they can't see that."

I don't think BL is special. It's just another sexual orientation. There is a lot of pushback against it being seen as normal. But we should keep pushing the message that it is. We should take the moral high ground. People that paint us as monsters are the bigots. They are the ones in the wrong. Minor attraction's normalcy won't be accepted at first. But we need to keep on telling people that it is normal. Because it IS normal. Different, but normal. Just like homosexuality is different but normal.

It's not illegal to be a pedophile, say your a pedophile, or even have an underage boy/girlfriend. But as soon as you have sex with them, you're the worst of criminals.

But even if you don't cross that line, people will always see you as a potential felon. Therefore it is perfectly legal, and even seen as respectable, to fire you from jobs, deny you any new ones, and also deny you any loans, housing, or insurance. You also won't be able to join the military.

It's not illegal but it will get you banned from most sites. It's heavily suppressed through the decisions of private companies making it seem de facto illegal. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it illegal soon, there would be widespread popular support if a law came up suppressing it. For comparison, I think I recall reading that Paypal won't allow financial transactions relating to lolicon/shotacon.

That's why it's important to push back against demagoguery and populism; the more the liberal establishment loses ground, the more populism will give license to authoritarians. Anarchists are naive to think letting the system burn will make things better.

Seriously, though, I think most people (are conditioned to) conflate tolerance and normalisation. We should call a pedo a pedo (or a nonce, beast, sicko, kiddie-fiddler, two-pin DIN plug...) because calling them "minor attracted" normalises them. (How may times have you heard that?) The moment one relinquishes the notion that we're disgusting perverts who should be fed to the woodchipper then come the accusations of promoting child abuse.

Youth/adult romance is legal so long as there is no sexually motivated intimacy.
It takes a good adult to be romantic with a child without causing troubles & problems, requires a squeaky clean mind with moral fiber.
However, the majority of people have incredibly dirty minds and you cannot change that.
Nobody will ever believe that you're a good person, ever. People don't have minds clean enough to imagine that, and they never will have.

Normalizing the fact that little girls are pretty, dressing them up fancy so they can sing and dance in celebration of youth & beauty, I think is a solution to "bad" pedophilia.
